About MQ7: "All our products are formulated with scientifically modified cedar oil and other plant based ingredients. Our innovative highly concentrated formulation is all natural, non-toxic and safe to use around children and pets.
A non-toxic insect control formulation has never before achieved such levels of innovation and extraordinary performance.
About Cedar as a Natural Insect Repellent: "Throughout history, cedar has been known to effectively repel insects naturally. Ancient Egyptians built tombs and coffins of cedar and traces of cedar oil have been found in the mummification process. This is probably why even today we are accustomed to using cedar products, such as closets, chests, hangers and other cedar wood products.
For over 10 years, a team of biochemist, horticulturist, biologist, entomologist, chemist, ecologist, formulators, researchers, professors and botanist have contributed to the development of MQ7. There are close to 390 species of cedar. Not all of them have the natural insect repellency properties. Furthermore, not all the components within cedar have the insect repellency properties. We have identified the very few components within a specific cedar species that have the ultimate repellency property. We take the cedar oil and scientifically modify it to intensify these components. Then, we take other plant based ingredients and homogenize the components to come up with our highly concentrated proprietary formulation of MQ7."
Additional Benefits:
Beneficial Insects: Most beneficial insects such as ladybugs and butterflies are not affected because they tend to rely on their sense of sight rather than smell.
Long Lasting: When an area is treated with MQ7, insects have no choice but to retreat. The encapsulated formula is very slow to decompose, forming a barrier to prevent insect re-entry. The repelling effects remain long after the cedar scent is detectable by human senses.
Green Product: MQ7 is safe to use around children and pets because it contains no toxic-chemicals. MQ7 helps keep our earth green by not contaminating our ground water and ultimately our food chain and drinking water."

My Review:
I am reviewing the MQ7 Personal Mosquito Repellent Spray.
Finally a Mosquito Repellent Spray that actually keeps the mosquito's away! I cannot stand mosquito's in fact they scare me and lately I've been seeing a lot of them in my room and that is not gonna work for me.
So I went online and researched different repellents, I tried some others and they worked but sometimes I still ended up with bites so that wasn't good enough for me because my goal is to have zero bites.
When I read about MQ7, I was very intrigued to find out it is Non Toxic, which is a big concern of mine especially if I'm spraying a product on my entire body including my face.
What I like about MQ7 is that once you spray it on, you do not have to worry about being bit by a mosquito. I even saw mosquito's in my room fly around me but they did not land on me and that was a first.
I started to learn to feel confident even though I knew there was a mosquito in the room because as long as I applied the MQ7 spray, it wouldn't bite me. It took me a while to get that comfortable but as time went on and I had zero bites on my body then I started to relax when I would see a mosquito.
The only downside to this product is the smell. It's a very strong smell of cedar. Basically when you spray it, it smells like a forest. On the positive side, after a few minutes, the smell begins to disappear but it's completely worth the strong cedar smell to not be bitten by a mosquito.
My roommates use it and no one has complained about the smell so that's a good thing. One of my roommates had huge mosquito bites on her arms because she works outside and since she's been using the MQ7 she hasn't had any more bites.
I fully recommend this product to anyone who does not want to be bitten by a mosquito. Which I'm pretty sure no one wants that to happen but with this strange weather we've been having all over (raining while it's 90 degrees outside) you just never know when one might be lurking around you until it bites you. So this is a great product to have on hand at all times. I also like that it can be used multiple times throughout the day.
